The solution
Migration to Strongest-tier 10-mil plastic tags with 3M 467 adhesive and 5-mil overlaminate, sequentially numbered with the existing fleet ID scheme. Tags placed on the operator-station access panel.
The result
Five years later, zero tag replacements. Annual audit time dropped from two weeks to four days. Lost-asset rate dropped 40 percent in the first year.
