Custom-printed orders
Orders for custom-printed asset tags are non-refundable once production begins. Custom-printed inventory has no resale value, so once your name, logo, or serial range is on the labels, we can't return them to stock. You will always receive a digital proof for approval before we print. Approval of the proof authorizes production.
Stock items + sample kits
Orders for non-customized stock items and free sample kits are refundable within 30 days of receipt provided the product is unused and in original packaging. Email Scott@StrongAssetTags.com to start a return.
Manufacturing-defect warranty
We warrant every tag against manufacturing defects for one year from delivery. Defects covered include print errors not present in the approved proof, overlaminate delamination not caused by user removal, and adhesive failure on rated-compatible substrates. Remedy is replacement of the defective tags at no cost to you.
What the warranty doesn't cover
User removal, application to substrates outside the rated compatibility for the chosen tier (e.g., applying Strong-tier polyester to powdercoat), installation on dirty or contaminated surfaces, exposure beyond the rated outdoor durability period, and physical damage from intentional removal or impact.
How to claim a warranty replacement
Email Scott@StrongAssetTags.com with: your original order number, a description of the failure mode, and photographs of the failed tag in place on the asset. We'll review and ship a replacement run if the failure is covered.
Shipping for returns
For approved returns of stock items, the customer is responsible for return shipping. For warranty replacements, we cover both the return shipping and the replacement shipment.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days of return receipt.
