3M™ 467: the adhesive standard on Strongest-tier tags.

3M 467 is a 2-mil high-performance acrylic transfer adhesive. It is the industry benchmark for industrial asset tags because it bonds to surfaces that release standard acrylics: powdercoat, polyethylene, polypropylene, painted steel, anodized aluminum, and rough cast metal.

When to specify 3M 467

  • 1.The substrate is powdercoated or painted with a release-modified finish
  • 2.The substrate is polyethylene or polypropylene plastic
  • 3.The tag will see outdoor UV for more than two years
  • 4.The asset is in an industrial environment with solvent, coolant, or washdown exposure
  • 5.Permanent install is required and you cannot revisit the tag in 90 days for re-application
